A boat trip or boat tours can see land better when tourists travel by boat, as compared to the larger ocean liners or the cruise ships. A small tourist boat can dip in and out of areas that the larger ones cannot get close.
Most visitors travel by ocean liner or cruise ships when traveling on water, staying off shore when visiting and very seldom-getting close to any land activities unless it is part of a tour that is taken on land, unless the ships stay a day or so close-by for an overnight stay. A boat trip is fun with a much less formal atmosphere than the larger ships, and boat tours can travel into smaller areas for more sightseeing. And on many of the islands or coastal areas, a tour boat for sale may be picked up pretty cheap for your own tours. There are many types of boats, but a favorite type is the classic tour boat. This is a small vessel that the tourists can float on water with it, and is much smaller than the larger ships. Whereas the cruise ship has several decks, the boat only has one. Many sightseeing tours and attractions have the boat trips offered to the traveler to see things better and to come on land, such as the Statue of Liberty. There are things to see when you travel by boat, such as the sailboats that are beautiful to see and wonderful to travel on. Many of the daily small tour boats or fishing boat trips is just as much fun as one of the two week Caribbean cruise trips, as they are much more casual and relaxed, and not nearly as rigid and formal. They are not as lengthy in length, with some only being about three hours--like the ones around local attractions. The fishing boat trips are wonderful for those who like to fish, and want to be taken to the good fishing spots or the “favorite fishing whole”. One thing for sure is that the boat trips are cheaper than the larger cruises. Boat tours offer dinner cruises with three-course dinners, live bands and dancing, entertainment of all types, speedboat rides, with many areas offering specials and featured cruises. Several boat tours offer historical tours for special historical buildings or towns. Some of the shorter boat tours offer a 90-minute tour with a professional narrator telling the history of the designated tourist area, with snacks and coffee or lemonade. The advantage of the boat tours is that someone can spend an afternoon or evening on the boat, enjoy a nice meal, do some sightseeing, and then return home.
