The choice of cruises for vacations is as wide as the ocean. As they become more and more popular, many different ideas are developing to entertain the travelers to bring them back for repeat vacations or for last minute cruises or even singles cruises. The fun part of cruises is not only are the guests getting away from home, but doing something entirely different on a daily basis.
Something to think about when reviewing the different types of cruises is the dinner cruise. As not a long distance is required with many ships picking up at the motels—taking the guest out for a short cruise to enjoy a meal with open bar, with a show and entertainment—then returning the guest to the hotel. An excellent choice is the Oahu Dinner Cruises from the island of Oahu, which are considered by many travelers to be the most romantic cruise there is. On a different side of choices are the Christian Cruises, a cruise with cleanliness, decency, and a way to recharge their lives with the entire family that brings about new changes in lives. And if this is not for you, then the River Cruises, Viking River Cruises, or the Nile Cruises may be spiritual on another level, bringing about an extraordinary sense of connecting with nature with adventure right around each corner. A cruise that is a little more unique and different is the barge cruises, with many consisting of a six-night, seven-day cruise that is all-inclusive. Usually half a day is spent at sea with the other half on shore with the barge guide. And then of course, are the famous casino cruises. In Florida alone, gambling ships offer 11 ships that cruise daily with each one transporting about 800 travelers, twice a day, to international waters. This was based on Florida’s 4.3 million passengers in 2006 that booked gambling ships. The adventure cruise with meals included on the tour, is the one that attracts just about everyone with extra activities that involve sightseeing of historical and cultural sites, wildlife, tropical islands, beaches, snorkeling and diving, mountains, whale watching tours, and many more. Alternatively, the luxury cruise will involve just as much but on a highest level of quality if booked by professional travel agents—customized tours, chilled champagne or wine waiting in the suite with double bathrooms, personal guides, and cooled towels by the poolside. Adult cruises or family cruises are available to either get away from it all for recharging, or to enhance the quality of the family. Disney cruises are excellent for the family while sail ship cruises are excellent for singles where a Bloody Mary beverage can begin the day, and exciting parties end the evenings. Booking all inclusive cruises or repositioning cruises are also options when researching the type of cruise for the most fun and best prices.
